Peggy is a generous sized crescent shaped crossbody bag with an adjustable webbing strap. She will become your everyday companion. You will leave with a whole new set of skills, the pattern with instructions and the confidence to make more!

10am-3pm - This workshop can run on a Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday.
Includes 45 min lunch break.
All workshops are held at my studio at Made & Found, 43 High Street, Wincanton, Somerset, BA9 9JU.
This workshop is suitable for those who can thread a sewing machine and sew a straight line, following a seam allowance.

- Laying out and cutting out a pattern/template
- Creating a patch pocket
- Inserting a zip
- Topstitching
- Finishing seam allowances
- Using pins and/or clips
- How to assemble a product with a lining
- Constructing and attaching an adjustable webbing strap
What is included?
- Peggy bag pattern and instructions that you will take away with you to enable you to make more.
- Use of sewing machine and all necessary equipment
- Hardware for strap
- Refreshments – tea, coffee, squash, biscuits
What do I need to bring?
- Outer fabric – 0.6m - Non-stretch woven fabrics with some structure, that hold their shape will work best. Eg denim,canvas, cotton twill.
- Lining fabric – 0.6m - Light to medium weight non-stretch woven fabrics will work beautifully. Avoid slippy, silky, synthetic fabrics as they will be difficult to work with.
- Standard dress zip – 18” – Please ensure no metal teeth.
- Webbing strap - 38-40mm wide. 1.5m length. Cotton or synthetic webbing will work equally well.
- Matching thread.
- Packed lunch. Please note that lunch is not provided.
