Join us for a beginner friendly sewing workshop at Made & Found Wincanton.

We will be making a Japanese inspired cross back apron.

All equipment and refreshments will be provided during the workshop.  You will need to bring your chosen fabric and thread.

A sewing machine will be provided but if you wish to bring and work on your own machine then you are welcome to.  Please ensure that it is working and that you bring the machine, power lead, presser foot and a bobbin reel.

Who is it suitable for?

This workshop is suitable for beginners.

Each workshop has a maximum of 4 spaces, this means that there will be plenty of time for me to help and support you through the making process.

What is included?

  • Apron pattern and instructions that you will take away with you to enable you to make more.
  • Use of sewing machine and all necessary equipment
  • Refreshments – tea, coffee, squash, biscuits

What do I need to bring?

Fabric needs to be woven and non-stretchy. 

You can make your apron in a lighter weight cotton fabric, or a linen or in something heavier such as a denim, canvas or twill.   You will need to bring...
