Learn to use a sewing machine - Complete beginner workshop FULL DAY
A full day workshop that will guide you through the basics of setting up and using a sewing machine. Samples will be sewn in calico that you can take away with you to refer to, along with a whole new set of skills and increased confidence! In the second part of the day, we will use your new skills to make a tote bag that you can take away with you.

10am -3pm – this workshop can run on a Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday.
Includes 45 min lunch break.

What is included?

If you would like to bring your own machine so that you are learning on the machine that you will use at home that is fine. Please ensure that it is in good working order and that you bring with you:
- The machine itself
- Foot pedal and power cord
- Bobbin (and bobbin case if required)
What do I need to bring?
- Fabric for tote bag – 1m of woven non-stretch fabric. I am happy to advise on where to purchase fabric if necessary. I can also provide fabric for a small charge.
- Packed lunch. Please note that lunch is not provided.
