At Loft Somerset Fiona creates bold new accessories from reclaimed fabric treasure. Every item is made by hand in her home or studio. Fiona also offers sewing tuition and workshops in a number of locations in Somerset. She is passionate about sharing her skills and enabling others to enjoy sewing.

I'm Fiona and I created Loft Somerset.

After leaving a 16 year career in DT teaching I knew that I wanted to pursue a small business that allowed me to continue my own creative practice.

Designing and making accessories has allowed me to delve deep in to my fabric stash using pieces I have had for years and I really enjoy hunting down vintage and secondhand fabrics to incorporate in to my work. Everything is made by hand. by me, at my home in Somerset.
